Vintage Pirate & Ship Relief Moulded Ceramic Tankard (Damaged)

A quirky vintage ceramic tankard or mug featuring a relief-moulded design of pirate/sailor figures on one side and a sailing ship on the reverse.

This characterful piece has a brown glaze with hand-painted details on the figures and a faux wood-grain effect band around the rim. The interior is glazed in a contrasting cream/white. It is unmarked, typical of many mid to late 20th-century novelty ceramics.

Please note: This item has visible condition issues. There is significant crazing and what appear to be cracks, particularly around the top rim and extending onto the moulded figures (please see photos carefully). It is sold as a decorative piece for display purposes, given the damage.
