A rare and historically fascinating original share certificate from the "Société Anonyme des Tramways de Koursk" (Kursk Tramways), issued in 1897. This document, Action de Capital No. 10106, is beautifully printed in both French and Russian, reflecting the international investment in pre-Revolutionary Russian infrastructure.

Key Features:

  • Ornate design typical of late 19th-century financial instruments.
  • Original attached sheets of dividend coupons, with series for 1915-1919 (red) and later years up to 1931 (green), with a note regarding new coupons for 1932.
  • Includes a separate official "Service d'Identification" slip for this share, dated 27th October 1941. This slip was issued under the control of the Brussels Stock Exchange (Commission de la Bourse de Bruxelles) and bears a stamp from De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. Amsterdam, likely a measure related to financial asset control or registration during World War II.

Condition: Good condition for its age (over 125 years). The certificate exhibits original folds, some light paper toning, and minor edge wear. The coupons are intact. The 1941 identification slip is also well-preserved.

This is an exceptional piece for collectors of scripophily, Russian history, railwayana, or documents related to WWII financial history. A tangible link to a significant period of European economic development and turmoil.
