Vintage Murano-Style Art Glass Fish Dish / Ashtray - Amber & Red

A vibrant and sculptural piece of vintage art glass, crafted in the shape of an abstract fish. This heavy, thick glass dish or ashtray showcases a beautiful 'sommerso' style technique with a warm amber/yellow core that blends into rich ruby red at the edges, fins, and tail. The centre of the dish features a moulded, textured pattern, and indentations on the edge suggest it may have been designed as an ashtray.

While unmarked, the style, colours, weight, and freeform shape are highly characteristic of mid-century Italian Murano art glass.
